The American game "Bingo" is an early 20th-century development which evolved from the earlier European and American game called "Lotto." Lotto is still popular in Europe but the name "bingo" has stuck in the US. Now often played as a public fund-raiser in church and club halls, bingo is also produced as a game for the home. This example dates from mid-20th century.
