Wrigley's, the chewing gum manufacturer, first produced Hubba Bubba bubble gum in 1979. Since then, the brand has been both in and out of production through the years. It rose to early success with a Western-themed advertising campaign featuring dueling bubble-blowing cowboys who popped their bubble first instead of firing a gun first. The gum's innovation supposedly made it less sticky, so it was easier to remove a popped bubble from the skin of the face. Fans of the gum could join the "Hubba Bubba Gumslinger Club," and received this Western-themed kit which includes games and accessories.
