Board game:Round the World

In the early years of the twentieth century many board games featured themes of travel. In the case of Milton Bradley's "Around the World" game, a simple race game carries images on its box cover and game board, of world cities, countries, and modes of travel. Although there is no educational aspect to this game beyond the socialization of game play, this box cover design probably appealed to parents as well as children.
