GMT Games began producing war games for serious players in 1990, in Hanford California. The firm now makes examples covering recreations of many different eras, many different wars, and many different types of combat. Designer Mark Miklos brought out the game Saratoga first in 1998, one of several games focused on specific battle sites from the American Revolution. During the Battle of Saratoga, the American Benedict Arnold distinguished himself; it was considered his greatest victory in a string of great battles. Later Arnold turned traitor and today we remember him better for that. War gamers enjoy many of GMT's war games and this is the secon printing of their game Saratoga.
