The toy and game company Transogram was established in 1915, producing toys and games for the next 80 years. The firm is recognized for production of a Monopoly variant, Big Business, in the 1930s, helping prove the point that Parker Brothers had no real claim to finance games that drew upon the Landlord's Game precursor. Transogram produced many memorable and often unique games and toys. A combination game from about the same period of Big Business demonstrates the firm's use of bright colors and playful graphics in games for younger players.
