Board game:Shogun

From 1984 to 1986, Miolton Bradley produced five war simulation games as part of their GameMaster series. These games consisted of Axis & Allies, Conquest of the Empire, Broadsides and Boarding Parties, Fortress America, and Shogun. Shogun is a role-playing game that takes place in 16th Century feudal Japan, where players each control a certain number of daimyo and their samurai armies. Players battle to take control of enemy territory in the hopes of ultimately wining the game and becoming Shogun. In 1995, the game was renamed as Samurai Swords, in order to prevent confusion with other games of the same name. This game is no longer being manufactured, but both war games and role-playing games in general are still extremely popular in all mediums today, and can especially be seen in electronic games such as Age of Empires and Civilizations.
