Game inventor Bill Stephenson's mystery and deduction game Spy Alley, first published in 1992, gathered a Mensa Select award in 1998. Players assume secret spy identities and then must gather needed supplies as they round the board. They bluff by gathering supplies they do not need. The first to reach his or her national embassy, without being identified, is the winner. But be careful! Wrong guesses cause a player to lose the game, while correct guesses allow another method of winning.
