In The Game of Life, players work their ways around a "3-D" game board that replicates a life's journey through adulthood. Fortunes are made and lost; players face success, failure, and revenge. In recent years many classic games are repackaged and designed around popular contemporary movies and movie characters. The Game of Life is no exception. Here, in 2004, it was packaged and designed to reflect the popular Disney film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," which starred Johnny Depp. Demonstrating the popularity of both the game and the movie, it perhaps here documents both young and old fascination about "living the life of a pirate."
