Christmas is a time for giving gifts, so game manufacturers regularly produced games with holiday themes. McLoughlin Brothers made their game "Lookout" near the end of the 19th century. A curious race game, Lookout features one moving "Santa" game piece. When Santa passes a player's home space, that player gains a "present" card. The player with the most presents at the end wins.
