A vintage game from the twentieth century, this example demonstrates the continuity of game play throughout this period. The Tiny Tim Game of Beautiful Things debuted at the height of singer Tiny Tim's (1932-1996) celebrity fame. The singer Herbert Khaury actually held a wealth of knowledge on the history of American and British song but became famous when he appeared on the comedy variety television program "Laugh-In" in the 1960s. Khaury sang "Tiptoe Through the Tulips," in falsetto, to an astonished Dick Martin, and a hit was born. A few years later Parker Brothers developed a board game to commemorate the singer's seeming quirkiness and fame.
