A small game producer in Alabama made a fortune telling game in 1956. The game worked, or claimed to work, by means of a pendulum on a chain which the questioner holds. The pendulum swings toward a yes or no axis, or focuses on specific letters. The game is based on the same subconcious mechanic as the Ouija board. A similar method of play appeared in the 1967 Kreskin's ESP board game.
