In Trial Lawyer: The Jurisprudence Game, players have the opportunity to experience the drama of the courtroom from the comfort of their homes. Each player, charged with a crime and put on trial at the start of the game, must act as his or her own lawyer and try to win an acquittal from the jury. The game, self-published by James N. Vail in 1977, teaches players about the legal system and their personal rights.
