Boatmen in the lagoon

The oil on canvas, signed on the lower right by Pietro Fragiacomo, shows several fishermen in the lagoon, realistically caught talking on their boats that are reflected in the water, overflowing with fishing gear. The expanse of the sea, crossed on the horizon by a long curtain of clouds, is lost in the clear sky, while on the right of the frame you can see the great dome of San Giorgio Maggiore and the towering bell tower of San Marco.
