Cronulla surfer Bobby Brown was seen as a future world champion, he made the final of surfing's first ever world championships at Manly n 1964 when only 18 years of age). He was seen as the star of a new generation of Australian surfers with a fast but smooth style, but his life was cut short killed in a pub fight when he was 22. This multi coloured Jackson surfboard was surfed by Bobby in the movie Hot Generation, a film that highlighted Australia's best surfers contemporary performances. Bobby was a stand out from the film. This board has a couple of unique design elements, like an almost upright symetrical round tipped fin (more like an aircraft wing). All the colours on this surfboard are pigmented resin that has been applied over the fibreglass (including the Jackson logo) and represents a huge amount of work to mix, mask, sand and polish.
