Body

Body is the artist's response to the death of a loved one. A sick body in the grip of a medical institution is erased whilst dealing with the uncertain trajectory of its condition. The artist asked herself how a standardized condition could be countered by representing the sick body as a phenomenological and subjective/personal experience. The bodies (or lack thereof) the artist weaves are sites of tragedy. The work situates itself between prose and medical brochures.
