Bombe Control Room

In late 1940 a policy was adopted of dispersing the Bombe machines, which were difficult to replace, away from Bletchley Park to a number of smaller sites or outstations in the surrounding area, such as at Wavendon. These outstations were connected to the Bombe Control Room at Bletchley Park by telephones and teleprinters.
