This book of prayers and collects written by Queen Adelaide was presented to the Art Gallery of South Australia by H.M. Queen Mary in 1935, and was insured for one pound. It was later transferred to the History Trust of South Australia. This object is part of the Historical Relics Collection (Queen Adelaide Collection). The QAC represents the continous links between the British Empire and the colony in South Australia. This book provides an example of Queen Adelaide's handwritting and her strong religious beliefs.
