This collected volume of the poems published between 1880 and 1902 of the poet, author, and cultural politician Elek Koronghi Lippich was issued in 1903 by the Pallas Irodalmi és Nyomdai Rt. (Pallas Literary and Printing Company). As a supporter of the Gödöllő artists’ colony, Lippich had two of the colony’s leading artists, Sándor Nagy and Aladár Kriesch, illustrate the book. Although the poems infused with the decadence of Art Nouveau and the illustrations comprise an integrated whole, the blue paper binding was composed by an unknown designer with Hungarian-style decorations that differ from this. A stylized plant is bounded by two peacocks with additional floral motifs above and below them. The title can be seen in the upper section of the cover. The individual names of the author are separated by decorative points (colons are used here), which were typical in Art Nouveau typography. The title inscription made from restrained, outline letters printed in gold is surrounded by star-like decorations. Green and pink colored floral ornamentation surrounds the title on the title page.
