The Carl F. W. Borgward company built the medium-sized Borgward Hansa 1500 saloon between 1949 and 1954. It was the first German car with a ponton styling side design. This model used blinkers for the first time as turn indicators instead of the usual winkers. The car had a four-cylinder straight-four engine and 1498 cc. Engine output was 35 kW (48 hp). Model 1:10
