Spring driven with lever escapement. Incaflex balance wheel, 17 jewels. Manual winding. Caliber FHF 59N.
Metal, elastic bracelet painted black with gold stars. In the bracelet is embedded a watch with square dial. Over the dial a two-part cover. If the dial is covered the object looks like a bracelet, while by pressing the button at 9 o'clock position the lid is open and the watch visible. Thus, the item has a dual function – it can be used as an ornament i.e. bracelet or as a watch.
The watch is fitted with caliber 59N made by Ebauchée Fabrique de Horlogerie Fontainemelon. It is a very thin movement, of the baguette type. The caliber was derived from the model 59. Both have the same frequency of 18,000 vibrations/hour, while a subsequent 59-21 has a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour.
The watch has Incaflex device to absorb shocks that was promoted in 1927 by the Swiss company Wyler. It is in fact a balance wheel, within which are fastened two curved, elastic arms, which absorb potential shocks onto the balance.
It is rather difficult to date a watch since this type of basically art déco bracelet watch was made into the fifties of the 20th century. In a magazine from 1946 a very similar model of Wyler watch was advertised.
