Catalog number, USNM V 7951, a holotype scientifically described as Brachyceratops montanensis Gilmore. This specimen, part of the Paleobiology collections at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History, is now considered to be a juvenile member of Styracosaurus sp. The specimen was collected by Charles Whitney Gilmore and others from the Two Medicine Formation in Glacier County, Montana, in August of 1913.
