Breastplate presented to ‘Billy Hippie'

A crescent-shaped brass breastplate with a hole at the edge of each horn to attach a chain. Engraved on the anterior surface is a cattle muster with a horse and rider with a whip is engraved in the horns above the inscription "Billy Hippie / King of / Minnon". The words "Twemlow, Engraver Sydney" is stamped in the metal at the distal edge on the anterior surface. A 980mm length of chain is attached with 'S' hooks through the holes.
