The Brent Goose nests in the flat Tundra areas near ponds and lakes and in the Winter they seek out the coast or shallow water marine areas further South. The Geese feed on grass, moss and algae and in breeding season they nest in pairs or loose colonies and eggs are incubated solely by the male goose.
