Italy

Fergola was a privileged documentarian of Bourbon politics and the industrial and technological improvements of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. This painting is in fact an important historical testimony of the Maria Cristina bridge built on the Calore River in 1835, and subsequently destroyed by bombs during WWII in 1943.
