Britannicus by Racine, direction: Wanda Laskowska, stage design: Zofia Pietrusińska; Irena Eichlerówna (Agrippine). Irena Eichlerówna (1908–1990) – one of the most original and outstanding Polish actresses of the 20th century. She co-operated with the National Theatre for over half a century. Her characteristic, melodious intonation when uttering her lines became legendary.
