From its maiden flight in 1969 until retirement in 2003, Concorde was the world’s fastest commercial airplane, with speeds of 1,350 miles per hour (2,170 kmh). Concorde was renowned for its speed and for its luxury and elegance. Concorde served fine food with selected wine pairings and an impeccable level of service.
