Rendered in gold, pink and lavender brocade against the deep purple ground of this sari, is a continuously repeating pattern of stylised scrolling flowering and leafing vines, extending the length o f the sari between upper and lower borders of additional floral scrolls—while the sair pallu displays one large and two smaller registers of densely filled horizontal bands of kairi. The kairi motif is reiterated at the corners, extending from the pallu onto the main body of the sari.
