Partially broken section of the side spoiler support panel from the McLaren-Mercedes MP4/10 driven by Mark Blundell at the 1995 Adelaide Grand Prix. This car, which was also driven during the season by previous Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell, took McLaren to fourth place that year in the constructors’ championship. Blundell finished the race in 10th place, while Finnish team mate Mika Häkkinen suffered an horrific accident during qualifying. An emergency tracheotomy was performed track-side, but Häkkinen made a full recovery by the start of the 1996 season and would go on to win the Championship in 1998 and 1999.
