This bronze adze was accidentally discovered on a field in Järveküla (Jüri parish), near Tallinn, in 1983. It is one of the most decorative finds of Estonian Bronze Age, manufactured probably at the southern littoral of the Baltic Sea, dating from 1500 to 600 BC.
