The body is an octagonal prism. The foot is in shape of a trumpet. The frame of bronze drinking vessel is mounted with 8 pieces of rectangular jade patches and 5 heart-shaped ones. The outer ring of the cover is inlaid with gilded bronze. The drinking vessel was wrapped in layers of silk when being discovered.
