Bronze sculpture by Nima, master Tibetan bronze artist.

Nima and his son, Dawa Dakpa, founded Khyenle Art Center in 2003. Since then, Nima has trained more than thirty artisans in the exquisite traditional bronze sculptures. They also create contemporary products for the international market involving Tibetan symbolism and ideology, like jewelry and other keepsakes. Khyenle’s mission is preserve the arts and crafts of Tibetan culture and empower independent artisans. If traditional artisans can earn a living off their crafts, these traditions will continue to thrive. The organization is built on the principles of fair wages, fair-trade practices, safe work environments, retention rates, ethical standards, local hiring and sourcing, community participation, and local charitable contributions.
