Brown Boveri electric rectifier valve

This type of vacuum tube was used in electric rectifier for X-ray equipment. It allows an easy transmission of current with low internal voltage drop. It consists of a vacuum glass tube, inside which there is a cathode shielded by an incandescent spiral emitting electrons, and an anode in platinum.
