A line drawing with inked colour depicting a man wearing a blue hat, pink jumper and blue trousers, cuddling a brown dog with a happy expression. This illustration of Colin Brinkley's story 'Brown Dog - No Name', shows Colin and newly named Roland (Brown Dog) cuddling and looking very happy. The artwork was created during a Suffolk Artlink arts course for adults with learning disabilities looking at the art of storytelling.
Colin's story tells the heartwarming tale of a homeless dog with no name finding a friend in Colin and finally finding a home. "Brown dog slept in sheds and in garages on the streets... one day Brown Dog woke up in a bin. Colin was sitting on a bench. 'Woof woof' said Brown Dog. 'Hello - come home with me' said Colin. Ill give you a home..."
Students worked with illustrators, writers and graphic designers to create an illustrated story book to celebrate the end of the Storytelling module.
