Rough tweed wool coat with sash belt and double button closure, very broad shoulders, Double Elevens label. This is a label with the graphics of two sets of 11 with a solid circle in the middle. It is associated with the wartime utility scheme and showed up around the end of the war and lasted until the end of clothing rationing. It is thought to represent a higher end or 'posh' line of utility wear but its exact meaning is currently unknown.
