Buchla Marimba Lumina Gold synthesizer and controller

To further the mission of expressive control options available for the player, Don Buchla and Joel Davel created the Marimba Lumina. Far beyond a simple mallet-style MIDI controller, the Marimba Lumina utilizes an RF (radio frequency) system to determine the location, proximity and speed of the unique, foam-covered mallets. This is the rare "Gold" version rather than the standard unit that contains lighting beneath the bars.
