Wrocław, Poland

A bucket made of yew wood with bronze fittings in the form of bands, between which crescent-shaped and diamond-shaped plates are placed. The vessel has been largely reconstructed. Presumably, it is an import from the Black Sea area and could originally be used instead of earthenware during military expeditions or on wandering routes.
