The head of the Buddha made in stucco is a beautiful specimen of Gandhara art. While the wavy hair with top knot is retained, the upward treatment of eyebrows, half open lotus bud shaped eyes and the feeling of inner peace on face make it relaxed from the typical Gandhara rigidity.
