Orange silk warp twill patterned with flat gold scrolling flowers and leaves; borders of grass green warp twill with scrolling lotus pattern in flat gold (probably paper gold). Later thin silk lining. Faded and worn. Center: Red, safflower (beni) twill patterned with gold paulownia leaves and tendrils. Border and corner patches (shiten): Green twill patterned with gold chrysanthemums, leaves and tendrils. Lining: Yellow silk plain weave.
