Buildings along the western edge of Oval Maidan

Street view of Rajjab Mahal and Shiv Shanti Bhuvan along Oval Maidan. Both Art Deco apartment buildings are situated on Maharshi Karve Road along Oval Maidan. Designed by Merwanji Bana & Co for Dr Rajjab Ali Patel, theses building are a part of the first set of buildings that were erected on the Backbay Reclamation Scheme.

They are a part of 'The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai', a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was inscribed to the list on June 30, 2018.
