Bukdongporu (Northeastern Cannon Fort)

One of the five cannon forts at Hwaseong Fortress, Bukdongporu was constructed on September 23, 1794, in the 18th year of King Jeongjo’s reign, between Janganmun (North Gate) and Hwahongmun (Northern Floodgate). The artillery position is built on a bastion of the fortress wall.
