Burwarton Park lies on the lower eastern slope of Brown Clee Hill. At 540m it the highest summit in England south of the Pennines. Brenda Colvin, one of the country's most distinguished landscape architects, took one of her earliest commissions at Burwarton. The Burwarton Estate, one of the county's largest, remains in private hands.
