"Italians Freed Bus Driver". Account of A. W. Corporal Fisher, a bus driver at Chalk Farm and serving in the Royal Army Service Corps, who was driving an ammunition convoy when it was blown up by enemy planes. A lorry approached containing Italians who captured and then released him and his men after a short time as they were considered more of a “nuisance”. Once released, the Italian Officer wished him good luck.
