Pablo Picasso innovated the course of the 20th century art with his unconventional artworks. Inspired by African and Iberian art, his figures, that attempted to reconcile three-dimensional space with the two-dimensional picture plane, are Cubist, Surrealist, Neoclassical and Expressionist.
