Buxton from Pooles Cavern

Print showing the view from Poole's Cavern, across Macclesfield Road, towards the centre of Buxton. A couple of years after this print was published, the parkland in the centre was turned into Pavilion Gardens. You can see the lake in the middle and the Broad Walk along the right hand side of the print. The newly built Palace Hotel can be seen in the centre.
