This archaeological site is one of the most interesting places of the ancient Christianity (IV-VI century A.D.). Here there is a large cemetery complex and a three-naves basilica with mosaic floors. The church, which is considered a Christian-Byzantine rural church, was discovered in 1952 by archaeologist Gino Vinicio Gentili and it probably dates back to 530/550 A.D., with some modification added in the last decades of the ninth century.
