Right next to the Museum Judengasse and the old Jewish cemetery lies the Neuer Börneplatz Memorial Site. It commemorates the destruction of the nearby synagogue in 1938. At the cemetery wall are set nearly 12,000 blocks, inscribed with the names of Frankfurt Jews who were deported and murdered.
