Cabaret Cartoons 1936-1946

Drawing commemorating ten years of Cabaret Cartoons, one of the early programmes of the BBC television service launched from Alexandra Palace. The drawing shows the variety performances on the show and depicts producer Cecil Madden as Prospero from Shakespeare's The Tempest, for whom the drawing was made.
