A collection of nearly 100 cabinet cards portrait photographs in wooden historic frame with cloth backing. Each individual is wearing a badge identified under magnification as a membership badge of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR). The majority of the cards were taken in Pittsfield, MA.
The cards are likely glossy collodion or gelatin. They were probably taken some twenty years after the Civil War.
