Sixty-three photographs taken by Mr. Kim Hak-seok, the father of the donor Kim Mi-seong, while serving at the Korea Army Academy. The photos are black-and-white and developed on paper, each photograph explained on the back. The photographs are from the period in which Mr. Kim Hak-seok trained officer cadets at the Korea Army Academy from 1945 to 1951. The photographs show the cadets train and learn, with some photographs taken on an academy sports day. The Korea Army Academy was originally in Seoul, but temporarily relocated to Jinhae in Gyeongsangnam-do, where cadets were trained until 1954 when the academy moved back to Seoul.
