Burial cairn on Sandholmsberget in Jävre, Piteå. About 3000 years ago, people were buried in cairns and stone formations on Sandholmsberget, well visible from the adjacent sea. Today it is significantly further to the sea, which is due to the ongoing land uplift. In the area today there is a hiking trail that passes burial fields with several cairns and stone settings.
